鈥淚 am grateful to see the governor鈥檚 budget recommendation that restores the University of Missouri鈥檚 core budget and also provides additional funding for our top priority NextGen Precision Health,鈥 said Mun Choi, president of the University of Missouri. 鈥淪ince the pandemic began, University of 大象视频faculty, staff and students have been on the front lines. We focused on facilitating more than 1,000 telehealth visits each day to serve rural Missourians; providing support for 大象视频farmers and small business owners with critical advice to secure COVID support for their businesses; and assisting veterans to help them receive the benefits that they deserve. Through it all, we have continued our education mission with the high-quality in-person instruction that our students have come to expect.

We know their support acknowledges the critical role the university plays in educating Missouri鈥檚 future leaders, making discoveries in the laboratories that save lives and engaging with Missourians in every county of the state every day.鈥
